Kimberley Aboriginal Health Summit - Program

The program is designed to enable participants to broaden and develop their interests and enhance their skills, by sharing their regional learning and receiving outside expert information from others.

The Summit will explore various themes:

  1. Health and human rights
  2. Effective and appropriate Indigenous health research
  3. Social, emotional wellbeing projects
  4. Social health and business
  5. Effective tobacco control methods
  6. Appropriate maternal and child health programs
  7. Projects with youth
  8. Health and housing
  9. Effective men’s health projects

October 31st - 1st November, the program until lunch will consist of - Official, guest and keynote guest speakers. After lunch there will be plenary sessions which will consist of presentations, panel presentations, discussions, question and answer time.

November 2nd - 8am till 12md, there will be various health promotion and education stalls with interactive demonstrations and presentations.
